The Isle of Man Police Dog Unit comprises four handlers who provide specialist dog capabilities in the fields of
They train predominantly on island in accordance with ACPO Guidelines.
The team are part of the Central Neighbourhood Policing Team and are based at the Sea Terminal, Douglas. They can be seen at the islands points of entry in addition to supporting both Police and other Governmental Departments.
The team are forward thinking with close links to the UK North West Region.
