The Isle of Man Police Dog Unit comprises four handlers who provide specialist dog capabilities in the fields of
They train predominantly on island in accordance with ACPO Guidelines.
The team are part of the Operational Support Group and are based at the Sea Terminal, Douglas. The Dog Unit operates at all of the islands points of entry in addition to supporting both Police and other Governmental Departments.
The officer in charge is Sergeant 228 Scott Mylchreest.
