At this time, due to Covid-19 restrictions, training is being undertaken wholly on island and in accordance with ACPO Guidelines.
The team are part of the Operational Support Group and are based at the Police Headquarters, Douglas. The Dog Unit operates at all of the islands points of entry in addition to supporting both Police and other Governmental Departments.
The officer in charge is Sergeant 228 Scott Mylchreest.
