Security staff registration
If you wish to take up employment as a doorkeeper or guard at on-licenced premises you must first register.
Registration costs £90 and the application form can be found below.
You will need to enclose with the application:
- 2 passport photos,
- 2 written character references - All references should be signed, dated within the past three months and include the referee’s day and evening telephone numbers so that the Police Alcohol Unit may contact the referee if necessary. All references should also be specific to the actual post the you are applying for, give a good outline of the skills and duties involved and highlight your suitability to perform these duties.
- A photocopy of the page in your passport containing the photograph. If you do not have a passport, a photocopy of your birth certificate.
- A photocopy of your Level 2 Manx Award in Door Supervision (Licensed Premises) certificate
